On one hand, I like how the opening shot has Daughter#1 out of focus. But with the same breath I grumble, "Would it have killed you to close the aperture a little bit?!?"
Daughter #2 (Picture #2) has her father's blue eyes. Daughter #1 has my multi-color eyes.
I really like the picture of the girls. The composition is interesting thus keeping my attention on the image. I think the key to a great image is how long one focuses on it, no matter the subject, if someone spends more than a a few seconds than it has made an impact, that is a good thing. My first thought when I saw the pictures of the eyes was "are they the same eye" I had to go back and forth comparing them till I read your comment.
