Jen, I hope when you took this picture you took more than this. I want to see a closeup of Mary, some of the details, play around with angles, not the shot everyone who walks by sees. There is so much information in the picture that I want to see more, like that sombrero the donkey, and who is under Mary's skirt on the left? Dig deep, move around!
Alas, this is a photo set-up where you can get your picture taken with the Virgin of Guadalupe and Pope John Paul II. The photogs didn't take too kindly to me snapping their business myself.
And that is an angel bearing Mary up into heaven (and climbing out from under her skirt). I suppose that all of this is so familiar to me (especially here at the Basilica of Guadalupe) that I don't really think it is too photo-worthy.
