I set the camera on a tripod, set the shutter to 16 seconds, turned off the lights, pressed the shutter release (on the remote), and wrote my name with a little light. I did it a few million times. Amazingly, you know pretty much what you've written because as you write, the afterimage still burns on your retinas.
I am going to have to try that. I love how smooth your writing is! It's a beautiful signature. Oh, I forgot I don't have a remote. Need to get one of those. It sure would make things easier.
I left in the orange glow of the phone 18" from the floor and the green glow of the smoke detector on the ceiling to give a sense of scale.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I used Photoshop to flip the image, since I didn't write my name backwards.
How did you do that Jenny? You guys are so creative.

ReplyDeleteWithout a remote, use the timer function on your camera. Press the button, run into place, and wait for the shutter to open up.
